• We live in the moment

We live in the moment. The past is past and the future has yet to come. We all know this but we live as if the past is present. The early training, impressed on us before the age of six, automatically runs us like instincts. We continually produce the same results that we trained to produce, regardless of where we are or what we are doing.

If we grow up in a safe environment, we walk with ease even in dangerous areas and we are safe. That is true but unbelievable for people who grew up in an unsafe and dangerous environment. We were trained rules, morals and BS from the past. Scientists have just now come around to studying us. The old ways of yesteryear were devoid of affection, love and being safe because there were too many children and there many more now.

To be positive now, in the present moment, means leave all that came before, in the past. Assume nothing. There is a Zen saying- "The skills for going up the mountain are different than the skills needed for going down the mountain." We can be fresh, new, wise and smart in the present moment by retraining our perceptions of reality and letting our subconscious cells call the shots. However, most people have been trained that is dangerous. In fact, we are trained that everything is dangerous, our home, parents, siblings and society. Life itself is full of danger.

What utter nonsense but that has been the gospel truth down thru the ages. We can be free of past experiences dominating the present and causing the same future over and over again and again. We can even know we are digging our grave, the grave of everyone else and that still fails to press us into action. We learned and believe we will work hard, get sick, be hurt and miserable. Rich or poor win or lose; we always act perfectly to cause what we expect.

Besides the ancient prophets said we would bring an end to the world and we will this century, so why bother making our last days on Earth pleasant, happy, healthy, peaceful and live in abundance? More nonsense. Those are fairytales and stories as is the rest of his'story.

For those who want their life to be free, full of love, health and having fun, we start by loving ourselves unconditionally because we are perfect. When that happens, we love and accept the perfection of all living critters, our planet and the universe that gave birth to us all. To live in a world of peace and goodwill, we must retrain our automatic way of perceiving the present moment, as if the past was but a faded dream, which it is.

Awesome content you post here! You are right that few people are ever present now. They are either on the phone, playing games on their iPod or daydreaming, watching TV, drunk or drugged, anything but present!! You sure tell it like it is and in a urgent but nice way. Edmund

Thanks Edmund for your awesome comment. We do need to pay attention to what is happening and use our brain to think instead of always being entertained. Love, Oracle Jai

I like this because it is easy to understand, even if we do live as if the past was present. If an interested reader takes the time to think about it, he can see that this is so. Oh yes, most people do not really inspect what someone says because it is too much trouble and takes too much time. We move thru life too fast. I also love the functional and subtle differences in your design. Your comment significantly needs to be different and the italics and color achieve this purpose very pleasantly. This is in fact a great article. I love the fact that each post has a different background, always appropriate to the article. Thanks,

Thank you for commenting about what you are thinking. It certainly helps the readers to learn more. Perhaps now some people will take the time to think. Love, Oracle Jai

My friend suggested I read Be Present to satisfy his argument. It was a good choice and I see much more to read. Your article reality made our day. It was a tremendous spiritual shock to think I have been living in the past carrying all that baggage around. I was depressed but now stimulated to get on with my life. It was as if I had never read it before but I had head it before many times. This time it actually penetrated my stubborn mind.

Yes that is how it works. We sometimes need to hear it many times before we take action. Good on you. Love, Oracle Jai

My brother suggested I might like this web site. He was entirely right. This post truly made my day. You can't imagine how much time I had spent looking for this info! Thanks!

Glad to be 1 of several visitants on this awesome site. I like reading the comments as well. You seem to have a special crowd of readers because most of them really make interesting comments. Almost like a conversation. It is also amazing that you respond, as in most sites there is no response, just a list of comments showing only a few words. This is an amazing site on all accounts. It is beautiful and love the sound. It really is a site about being present in the moment. At any moment I expect a breeze to come thru, rustling the leaves and fanning my face. I will return often to read some more of your wisdom.

Thank you and if you take my advise and move out of the city, into a small community in nature, that breeze will be real. Thanks for reading and commenting, Love Oracle Jai

    6. Salim says:

A fascinating discussion on being present in every moment. We all tend to let our mind wander, have conversations about the person we are with or those passing by. We are filled with judgments and opinions. I doubt anyone is present at all. I go into a restaurant to have a meal and people sitting at the same table are having conversations with their phone. Where are they? Someplace else that is for sure. I think that it is best to write more on this topic. People are not talking enough on how to ignore what is happening in the present with our knew phones attached to our ears. What does that say about us and our future. Such topics are really important. What do people think is important now? I look forward to your next post. Cheers

Thank you for pointing this out. Yes I have a conversation about this kind of behavior that points to avoidance. We are avoiding ourselves and our participation with others and looking at the glamor of what the news wants us to appreciate. Certainly what is wrong and terrible instead of what is right and good. Keeping up with the preparations of war should elicit some action but no, people are just looking at their new phones and taking pictures.

The facts talked about in the post are some of the top available.

Yes, being positive changes our lives. We see things in a beautiful lite. Our life just keeps getting better and better. Thanks, Love, Oracle Jai

    8. Tomas says:

I definitely believe what you said is very true. We do live as if what happened in the past will keep happening. And it will if we do not change our attitude and behavior. It seems simple enough. І certainly get annoyed with people who worry about everything, especially stuff they cannot know about, until it happens. People waist time worrying about the weather, should they plan a picnic, if someone will like the gift or will the kids be safe. You made it very clear that to worry is detrimental to our health. If it rains, so what? Life is about having fun in the rain as well as the sunshine.

Thank you, that was great and you are right. I actually did plan a birthday party in a park for my little girl and it did rain. There was a covered bridge over the stream, with benches but no floor and we all made a dash for it. I borrowed a knife from two homeless men also taking refuge under the roof  and cut the cake. We shared the cake and juice with them. It was still raining when we finished, so as I cleaned up, the kids ran out in the rain and splashed in the puddles. All had a great time and it is probably a birthday party they will always remember. Love, Oracle Jai

This blog site looks so good. I want to stay here all day. The pictures set the tone of being positive and the words are right. We do need to drop the negative and get positive. Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom. We need more of you reminding that we can do this. I am going straight through your blogs. Each one is a gem.

Thank you for reading and commenting. We always love to get compliments. Remember to compliment yourself and others all the time. Find something that you find you like. When I started doing this I found many things I could say even to someone I just met. Love, Oracle Jai

What's up? I am impressed with your site. It is beautiful and easy to find what I wanted in that brilliant Alphabetical list of blogs, even though some of the titles were unclear as to what I would find. So I had to check them out and found them fascinating.  I found the answers to my questions were fairly simple to access. I also read the other comments and found even more answers. It is like a forum where we can add to the conversation and uncover even more teachings. I can reply to someone's comment and I suppose if they wanted they could come back to me and we would interact with each other. Although I did not see anyone doing that.

Did you make a comment on someone's comment? Although many keep coming back they might not come back to the same blog and if they fail to click on that option they would not be notified that you had commented on their comment. Just keep having fun and keep trying. Love, Oracle Jai

I am familiar with the idea of being positive and smiling. I did watch Dr. Emotto's video and it was amazing. To think we affect other people just by feeling good or negative. I am going to be a regular visit to this site. There is a lot to read and learn here. Thanks so much. maillot de foot pas cher

Thank you Maillot for constantly reading and learning. We affect others including animals, plants, birds, the earth itself. It all contains water. So when you are alone, smile and laugh it is good for everything around you. Love, Oracle Jai

A splendid article and I have recommended it to friends. Thank you for writing it so we can talk about it. I feel strongly about being positive and would like to learn more about how to achieve this in a relationship where the other person, is unhappy and complains most of the time. Would you mind updating your blog with more info? It is extremely helpful for me. Christian

Christian most of my articles are about how one becomes more positive. We choose the people we are with so if you are with a chronic complainer you want the results you get. And what are they? Do you argue back, point out what is wrong with their thinking, feel superior, smarter, better? Whatever the results, you caused them.

Now if you want them to stop, you need to desire different results and that will change your way of being in the world. My guess is that most of the people in your life complain. This is the way our parents behaved and we copied them. Try a different behavior, laugh, give big hugs, stop the complaints with a kiss. Make it pleasant, suggest a walk, a dance, pizza, whatever. Several innovative Asia pacific companies are expected to build new solar power farms in the region which will commercialize clean electricity, clean air and will aid the market to approach cheap, beneficial power instead of using fossil fuels. Science will aid us  towards a positive approach and could save the planet by putting a stop to American Gas companies raiding the planet and killing everything for the almighty dollar. Competition will save the day and Asia will be on top for a change.

Thanks for such a breath of fresh air.  We need someone to get control for the safety of the planet. God Bless Asia, Land that We Love, Stand Beside Her and Guide Her…Love, Oracle Jai.

I go to your site almost every day. I really think you should send reminders to your fans to remind them you have new posts or comments. This web site provides quality based posts. It is surprising how much of my time is spent in thought about something that is not current, right now, in the present. It has taken some work just to look around and see what is going on in the present. All those thoughts I thought were so important I have repeated a million times. I am so glad to stop doing that and pay attention to what is really happening all around me. Life has suddenly become interesting.

Thanks for remembering to notice the present. When you are in it all the time and your focus is to love and cherish yourself, make you healthy, happy, be safe and prosper in Paradise, you just watch yourself as the hero of your movie and what you say and do next. Life is fascinating then. Love, Oracle Jai

Your blog and style of writing is really unique and it is all free!. That in itself is unique, unless you are an encyclopedia or dictionary. The information is invaluable from what I have read. You could make it into an e-book that we could download. You really cover a lot of information about us and how we can have the life we want. I come here often and not just when I have a problem. Thanks for putting your time and effort in helping us improve.

Thanks for your complementary comment. We hope you do keep coming back. Everything here is beneficial, even if at first it does not seem to pertain to your set of circumstances. Love, Oracle Jai

First off I would like to say this is a terrific blog! Every post has an important impact on every reader. The surrounding pictures put one at ease and yet anticipation. I too am a writer but I have trouble getting started. If I just dive in I have to do a lot of rewriting. I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your mind prior to writing. I do enjoy writing once the juice starts to flow. I would appreciate any ideas.

If you have taken any writing classes you know the problem is universal and there are as many ways to get the juice flowing. I believe that comes from thinking this is important and afraid we will not do or say it right. There are so many do it like this, not that, good and bad that fear stops us.

It is our society and the way our parents raised us, so we will not shine. Slaves and servants are not suppose to be brilliant, even if it is the apple that is held before us to try and get. Time to let go of this debilitating training. Just do not give a damn and begin to write about anything.

I keep a journal that I write in frequently. I close my eyes, go into a meditative state and type. After going thru the mundane, I will eventually get to the profound ideas for the next post. I put them into an ideas for new post folder. I have been doing this for so long that the juice is there the minute I sit down. I write to clarify my own thoughts for me. When we write for someone else, that is a different thing and I know nothing about it. Have fun in life and writing. Love, Oracle Jai

An interesting discussion is definitely worth comment. I can recall a few times I was truly present, not thinking of anything, just participating. A spectacular sunset comes to my mind and a time when the wind was blowing up a storm all around me. Most of my life is spent thinking of either what I have done or what I am going to do. I do believe that you need to publish more about this issue. We might save the world if we experienced it naturally. Experiencing a city with its pollution and angry, busy people has got to pay off in getting the hell out.  Onward and upward to the natural state of perfection. To the next post! Kind regards!!

Thanks for your interesting and worthwhile comment. Yes fully experiencing the moment can be an always wonderful, thrilling thing instead of a sometime thing. Read on!! Love, Oracle Jai

Everything is very open with a precise clarification of the challenges. It was truly informative. Your entire website is very helpful for life. Be present especially because I do notice people talking on their smart phones instead of paying attention to what is going on. I know what a hazard that is when they are driving. I am going to be different and leave my phone at home, like before we had these mobile phones. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you for sharing your precise ideas in the matter. It will be easier when our population has been reduced drastically. Love, Oracle Jai

It is truly a nice and helpful piece of information. I am happy that you shared this useful info with us. We are fed a lot of nonsense in more ways than one. Our food is nonsense. Marriage and having children will bring joy and love, Please!!! Our home is not safe from our parents!!! Please keep us informed like this and keep hammering at the solution. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks you for sharing. I will keep it up for we are facing not only our extinction, which nobody cares about, but a really horrific life if we do not change. Love, Oracle Jai

Pretty site! This has been an incredibly wonderful article. Thanks for supplying this information. Be present. Never thought about this but of course most people walk on the street or even sit at a cafe with a phone or ear plugs listening to something else than what is going on in the moment. Everyone does it so do I. However, i do believe you are right so I will stop doing that and check out what is happening in my life.

Good on you! and while you are at it, eat healthy, nourishing food. I do believe that would cut out most restaurants and super markets. Oh dear. Well someone has good food for us. Find them. Love, Oracle Jai

    26. Giene says:

It is appropriate time to make some plans for the future and it is time to be happy. I have read this post and if I could I would just let go, come what may. But I was trained to plan, make schedules, time tables, lists, even wish boards. I wear a watch and have a clock in every room. I want to do some interesting things but becoming a free person is a huge task. How do I even begin? Perhaps you can advise me. I desire to read even more.

It takes a huge 100% commitment, however it is easier than you think. The first thing on your agenda is to love yourself, lists, watches and wish boards all. Cherish yourself like a child. Would you take away all her toys when you think she should have grown up? Love your toys, plants, friends, animals and your whole environment. Love is smiling, laughing and playing. Then just joy matters and that does not matter.  Life is about having fun. Love, Oracle Jai

Thanks for the post.

Hello there! This is my 1st comment here so I just wanted to give a quick shout out and tell you I truly enjoy reading through your articles. Can you suggest any other blogs/websites/forums that go over the same topics? Appreciate it!

Actually so far I have found all others lack the combination of clear observation and scientific information on the subject of how we got to be the way we are, the life we cause and what we can do about it. Love Oracle Jai.

I just want to mention I actually savored this blog site. More than likely it is the best blog site ever. You come with really good stories. It really is important to be present, yet I see only people on cell phones, ear phones and preoccupied looks, instead of taking in what is going on. Bless you for sharing your wisdom.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and you are right, that is all I see as well. We are afraid if we saw what was really happening, we would jump into the lake and drown. We could just simply put away that occupation of cluttering up our minds and get back to being natural and one with the planet. Love, Oracle Jai
