DISCOVER NATURE’S WAY

  • When I lived in a marina on a tropical island in Indonesia, I offered my services as a landscape designer, a position I once held in the States, because I noticed something very peculiar. The gardeners would cut away the polyurethane bag from the four new plants, set them on the ground and shovel dirt from a nearby pile around them.

The results of this type of planting were clear to see. The rain would wash away the dirt, leaving the roots vulnerable to the bugs and the plant would waste away. I asked the gardener in the nursery why the other gardeners planted this way.

He was a young man just graduated from the university in agriculture and spoke English. He said in Indonesia the oldest gardener, clerk, mechanic, whatever, was in charge. The head gardener learned to plant this way from the last head gardener and it has been and will be this way forever.

After months of copying nature's way, with a variety of different sizes, colors and patterns, leaving room for the plants to grow to maturity, we built some marvelous gardens. One day, as I was again trying to educate the head gardener on how to plant the four sprouts in their polyurethane bag, the head of the marina came up and told him he could go back to the old way of gardening when I left.

I quit on the spot and in a few days all my work was undone. Even the individual gardens designed, planted and nurtured by each gardener were ripped up. For a brief moment everything thrived, including the gardeners. The head gardener was back in charge.

Instead of living in love and harmony with others and what is, we grow up in a home where controlling everyone and everything is the way, regardless of how stupid and destructive this is. We are the only animal that has ever done this in the life of the planet. We build our civilization on the same hierarchy of power to control, as our family. We have the brain to change this way of being but do we have the desire?

So great to see amazing articles on this blog. Thank you for posting as well as sharing them. Discover Nature's Way was a real eye opener. How often do we ignore what is right in front of us.

Thanks for the amazing comment. Yes we all fail to see what is natural and make it all up according to the way we were trained. We need to get out of God's imaginary Eden and look at the real word. Love, Oracle Jai

This is an issue that not enough people are talking intelligently about. I'm amazed people do not see that this simple issue clearly causes the problems facing the world today. I did not see it either. We just accept what we do without questions without checking our thoughts against reality. Seldom do I come across a blog that's shocking, enlightening and entertaining, and let me tell you, you nailed it. I'm very happy that I found this blog. They say if it is suppose to happen it will and it did. Randolf

Thanks for commenting Randolf for it helps the issue become a reality when we talk about it or in this case write about it. It is important. Love, Oracle Jai

Cool! I it has been a long time since I got excited about an idea and a reason to do my life better. I am thrilled to find somebody leaving examples of what to do with my personal situation. I really thank you as well, for making this website so beautiful and easy to move around in. We really need people to bring these ideas forward. I am consequently happy I was able to find your your web. The main plot seems to be that if we love ourselves we could save the world. It is up to each of us, me in particular.

I liked the post about the head gardener. All the head guys failed to learn anything from a more advanced gardener or even just to observe nature. Everyone lost and that happens even in the most advanced nations. I do get it not to get involved with the problems of others or even tell them there is a better way. That is what you did and it did not work, just made it worse for now the other gardeners know what it could be like but it is hopeless to get there.

Well, you got that right but it was beneficial anyway. Beneficial for me to realize the problem world wide and how do deal with it. I actually worked with the college graduate in the area where he prepared the plants for planting. He taught me a lot and I planted a garden that I later had to physically protect from the head gardener. I am sure after I left it was destroyed. I had sold two houses that had magnificent gardens with large trees only to come back and find al the plants and trees gone. Those head gardeners are everywhere. I know what to expect and so I love my life and accept what is. I always live in a beautiful garden and that is what counts. I gave up saving the world finally. We can save ourselves. Love, Jai

As a Green Keeper on a golf course, and landscaper with experience, I'm asked, continually, for help with people's gardens. Most people really have no idea about the types of trees and shrubs that are planted and why they are planted where they are. Nature has been by-passed and roses are planted in the tropics. This was a really good story about how little people know about nature.

Yes that is so true. One day I saw some workers ripping plants out of a natural marsh. I asked why and they answered the plants were not indigenes. I asked how the plants got there and they had no answer. Nature blows her seeds on the wind or on the wings or legs of insects. If her seeds grow, great and if not great. That is natural. Let's get back to nature. Love, Oracle Jai

First off I would like to say superb blog! I had a quick question that I'd like to ask if you don't mind. I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your head prior to writing. I have had a hard time clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out there. I do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are usually wasted just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or hints? Thanks!

I used to be like that, thinking what I said had to be just right. I thought about my audience, who I wanted to reach and what I wanted from them. We always do whatever we can to attract the people in our life who fulfill and prove our beliefs about us and the world are correct. You are already writing perfectly to express your beliefs. If that is difficult then that is what you believe. If you believed it was easy to reach the people who want what you are selling, then it would be. We always make everything in our life fit our belief system. Love, Oracle Jai

This post is something I’ve been meaning to learn more about to help me in my online business. After looking over your site and reading some of your blogs, especially this one, I realize how important it is to think instead of copy what others have done. I notice your are unique and your readers engage in a conversation, ask questions and you answer them. Fantastic that they become an integral part of the post and the post becomes clearer.

One's life is definitely limited so why spend any time being miserable? We need to educate ourselves in how to be happy, healthy and prosperous, which is what you cover here with intelligence, truth and understanding. Life is all about love.

Our parents expect and encourage a life of hardships, disappointments and gave up their dreams. Why do we have to settle for what our family wants which is to give them grandchildren! They were never happy with how we turned out. How do we handle our parents and the rest of the family?

Thank you for being apart of my post. You have asked about a major area that I need to tackle in a post. Suffice to say that you are right. Remember the head gardener destroyed the work of the other gardeners so he could be in control even when he was wrong. We need to be trained by different gardeners. Your solution for the other gardeners is your solution.

Your family definitely created our current situation, living in misery and looming extinction and all that is negative in the world of humans. Having children accelerates and acerbates the coming doom. Sorry but your family is desperate to hang onto the old ways and would drag you down to their level. You had better love and cherish yourself enough to leave them to their misery. They created it, want it and let them have it. Find, associate and love people who do love and if that is not your family so be it. Love, Oracle Jai

    7. Judy says:

There is definitely a great deal to learn about this subject. I love all of the points you have made. Even though my mother ran the house, my father was in charge. If he hit us, my mother just stood by. I thought this was the way it had to be. Now you tell me this is insane and it is. I have to be different than everyone I know, get rid of my husband and fend for myself and my kids, if I want to be happy, healthy, loving and have my children be free to follow a different path. I do not think I am up for this major change. However, keep on telling us what must be done to save us and the planet. We never know what we are capable of. Best wishes – Judy

Thanks Judy, anything is possible. Give it time and if you put it out there that changes must take place, all you have to do is become joyous yourself, love all there is and hold your children against any harm. Tell them they are always safe. Have them look in the mirror and tell them they are wonderful and beautiful. If you fail to love and cherish you, you will fail your children, your husband and everyone else. All they need is to be loved, cherished, held safe and allowed to be free. You are and always have been in charge. Start with you, then you will eat only healthy food and you feed your family the same way. Remember you husband was never cherished either as a child. Love, Oracle Jai

This is very interesting, You're a very professional blogger. I've joined your ranks of believers. I liked your story about the gardeners that could not see how plants were planted naturally. I was sad that at the end everything went back to the old, ruinous way of being. That happens everywhere, not just the third world primitive, poor countries. It is the nature of the beast. I like to skip around in your fantastic posts and look forward to reading each one. Also, I have shared your web site in my social networks! We have got to wake up and see how life is done naturally.

Thanks for the fantastic remarks. You are right that it is the nature of the beast to return to the old ways as quickly as possible. We know we are unnatural and keep trying to convince us that it is good when obviously we destroy what is good. Will we wake up in time, the predictions are against that. Take your bets and hope you are around to collect. In the meantime, train yourself to be positive, love yourselves unconditionally and have fun. Love, Oracle Jai

How is it doable, I asked myself, to walk for an hour by way of the woods and see nothing  worthy of note? I can see hundreds of issues to interest me via mere touch. I really feel the delicate symmetry of a leaf. I pass my hands lovingly in regards to the smooth skin of a silver birch. I am grateful for this post and everything you say here. Nature is worthy of our respect and love. We definitely need to leave the cities in ruins and get back to the real world.

Thank you for your comment. I am so glad you poetically expressed what we miss living in our cement, plaster and asphalt cities. Please read and comment more. Love, Oracle Jai

Frequently We do not set up on weblogs but I want to state that this blog was so interesting and you made a good point, actually a crucial point, I just had to comment. People just do not get it. They are like the gardeners, even when shown a better way the establishment, government, church, parents, teachers smash their good works. Maillot

Thanks for coming again and taking the time to comment. I lived across from a Marsh and one day gardeners were clearing brush. I went to stop them and they said the plants were not indigenous. I tried to explain seeds floating on the wind so the plants should be there. They just went back to work so I told them they were not indigenous and should go back to the womb. A lot of good that did. I felt better anyway, It is time to have fun and shout. Love, Oracle Jai

    11. Ricenberg says:

OK I agree with you on all your great points, it's just that I am careful of those who misdirect, so I'm always vigilant. You are right when you point out that we fail to notice the natural way of the earth and universe, just like the gardeners in Indonesia. I do know about the Sixth Major Extinction and we caused it and if we do not stop covering the earth with our specie we will become extinct ourselves.  All the people I know only care about their TV, video games and who do they know on Facebook. The news is about why it is a good idea we start another war. You are the only one who seems to have a grasp of the situation. Your solutions, if I have them right, are to not have any more children, have fun instead, until it is over. Is that about it?

You hit the nail on the head, fair and square. That is about it. Simple it is. Smile, Love, Oracle Jai

    12. Julio says:

Learning keeps you open and allows you to grow with confidence. Being connected to others through personal experience makes your journey to success more alive and can help to generate excitement in your pursuit. You need to be very persistent in your pursuit.

Thanks for your comment. Learning by example is what children do. If thinking in order to figure out something goes untaught, learning is by rote. Learning because we can think out a problem, situation, then we grow if our belief is that we do grow and learn and solve challenges. How we think, so we are. We reap what we sow. We are one with our environment and everything in it, whether we recognize this or not.

If we love us, we love everything in our environment, including the world and the universe. If we have been trained that we failed to be good enough to be loved, that fear builds civilizations. We need to understand we are perfect and persist in loving us. Then perhaps we can learn how to save this world and stop assisting in its destruction. Love, Oracle Jai

Thanks for your insight for the great posting. I am glad I have taken the time to see this. I guess there are a lot of people on the planet that fail to notice what is happening around them without news and TV. Of course one should be able to see how plants grow. I read that they know us as well. We must change our ways with this information. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. Christian

Thank you that is my intention, to awaken people to what we ignore that is right in front of us, what we have covered up, destroyed without a thought. We are one with the planet, which is one with the universe. A broader view is required in this day and age, if we are to save what is left of the life on the planet. Your name prompts me to wonder what Christians think when this is their goddesses' creation. I think they know and want to be god themselves, more powerful than the earth and universe. We dropped the atomic bomb eventhough there were scientists that predicted a chain reaction that would obliterate all matter in the universe. Hmmmmm. Love, Oracle Jai

Write more, I love what you say and how you say it. Humor really helps with such heavy subjects. It is hard to imagine a culture that is so oblivious to nature and what is natural. But then we drive cars on freeways and that certainly unnatural. I love your videos to give us the scientific view of how we really operate. We are so blinded by lies and false stories. I loved especially Dr. Emotto's video on how we change water just by how we feel. Your point is well taken. You definitely know what you're talking about. I like the fact that you show some of your backup. Thanks for giving us something enlightening to read? Brendan

Thanks Brendan, I appreciate that you also see how absurd we are. We need to get back to what is natural and having so many people on the planed is totally unnatural. Thanks for your comment and insight. Love, Oracle Jai

    15. Whitney says:

It is so difficult to believe that uneducated people, most of the world's people, have no idea for what they are looking at or experiencing. Who said we were the smartest animal in the world? It is obvious that when you decide on an area to plant a plant, make sure it can thrive there. Does it love lots of sun or shade? What kind of soil, climate, how much water? I am constantly amazed at the idea that we are the best when we fail to live in nature and cover it with cement and asphalt. I love your site, you make this problem with us so clear. You also have a solution which everyone will agree to.

Thanks for your educated comment. You are so right. We are supposed to have this incredible brain and we are so stupid on how to live and this stupidity is passed thru generations all the way back to the beginning. I just want enough people to realize this in time to prevent the sixth major extinction from going any further. It is personal. Love, Oracle Jai

    16. Hadara says:

Very valuable stuff on all your blogs. I love this one on discovering natures way. We totally forget that there is more life on this planet than us. It seems paradoxical that for us to care for others and the planet we must care for us first. Seems that is all we do is think about us. Still I see your point. We think about us but do not care for us as we are or nature as it is, plants as they or even our pets as they naturally are.  cheers

You said this very well and I hope those who read this blog also read your comment. It is a paradox and I had failed to see that before you pointed it out. Thank you so much, Love, Oracle Jai

Seems we are either whores or unpaid wives, either way slaves to men. I also liked your points about seeing nature and how it operates naturally. We are the most unnatural species on the planet.

Wonderful Post. You have done some interesting things in your life. We think we know how nature works but I guess most of the world does not. thanks for shareing..I will come back for more.

Thanks for commenting. I lived next to a marsh as a little girl. After I left, the marsh was slowly filled in with illegal land fill. I guess the people did not think much of their one of a kind marsh that shared the sea as well as a fresh water river. When I returned some 50 years later, the university was trying to rebuild it. One day the gardeners were ripping up plants in the would be marsh. I asked why they were doing that.

They said. "These plants are not indigenous." I answered, "Mother Nature sends her seeds on the wind and the wings of birds and bees. You are the ones not indigenous." Love Oracle Jai

Hi there, You have done a fantastic job on this blog. I am in nature all the time. Cannot abide the city life. I loved your story, you must have lived a very exciting life, especially sailing into different ports. Your story is so true, we still live this way and believe all the crap we are taught. I even have friends that insist we are aliens as if we might as well accept this and kill the earth. I will recommend your site to all my friends, especially the alien ones. I'm confident they'll be benefited from this site.

Thanks for a fantastic comment. We need all the aliens we can get to read the truth. After all maybe they are the ones who will save the planet and those of us who cherish it and ourselves. Love, Oracle Jai

Your style is really unique compared to other folks I have read. I just finished reading Discover Nature's Way. Most people do not compute. They are unable to see what is happening and why and the results. It is as if their minds cannot cross reference anything. Thank you for using your stories to illustrate your position. I can hardly wait to read the nest post that calls to me. The titles are all so inviting.

Thanks for the comment and that you can relate to reality instead of just they way you were taught to see, think and understand the results, since we cause all our results. Keep reading and you will change. Nothing like the truth setting you free of past negative training. Love, Oracle Jai

Enjoyed looking at this, very good stuff. Your presentation is beautiful and the sounds take us our of our busy cities into paradise for a moment. Your story is right to the point and so true. People like the head gardener are everywhere. We have a manager like that. "Management is nothing more than motivating other people." by Lee Iacocca. I can see that perhaps motivating is a poor choice of words in most cases. More like stopping the creative process!!

Hahahahaha. Yes it is. Thanks for the good comment. Of course a good manager needs willing and capable workers. Here's to THINKING AND MAKING SENSE. Love, Oracle Jai

Thanks for making our future a good one and that happens by loving ourselves first, then others, including our children, animals, birds, fish, plants, weather, everything. Thanks, cool comment, really appreciate it. Most of the people on earth do not know how to think and behave just like the gardeners, following the head gardener to our own destruction.
